POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated Warehouse Lead to join the team for our Distribution Center in York, PA. If you are driven with high energy and enjoy working in a warehouse environment, Sumitomo Rubber North America, Inc. is the company for you. The Warehouse Lead is responsible for directing work activities of warehouse staff on the floor and managing critical to quality areas of the work process. Supervising daily operations, trains entry-level Warehouse Associates. Managing quality standards inside the four walls. Achieving productivity, sales, and service targets. Maintain a safe work environment. Building on our culture of respect, professionalism, integrity, and an overall great place to work. Protecting company assets/insuring compliance with company policies in all activities, perform safety evaluations to ensure all members remain compliant. Responsible for picking and packing orders, hauling product to or from storage to designed trucks and stores items on floors for convenient removal. Uses forklift to store and relocate merchandise. Eligible for a quarterly bonus based on safety, attendance, productivity and quality.

 MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Three to Five (3-5) years experience in a warehouse environment, with Inventory Control experience. A High School diploma or equivalent. Must be proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Must be forklift certified and able to operate material handling equipment, i.e., forklift, sit down and stand up. Bilingual preferred. Must be able to read, write and speak English, with basic mathematical skills. Must have the ability to reason logically, use common sense, and resolve issues independently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, have a positive attitude, and hardworking, team player. Must have forklift experience and be able to lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular basis. The physical demands are ability to work in warehouse environment, bending, stooping, lifting and squatting.

  • Hourly base rate minimum $17/per hour.
  • **Potential to earn up $17.50/per hour based on productivity**
  • Additional performance bonus up to $1000/per quarter
  • Guaranteed 40 hours minimum weekly pay
  • No night work / no Sundays. Some Saturdays required. 
  • Sign on bonus of $500 bonus paid in full after 90 days
